  My experience was absolutely horrible! The tax preparer not only didn't say one word to me throughout the entire process, but completely messed up my taxes as well. He didn't explain anything nor ask me any questions or try to help with deductions or credits. He seemed somewhat annoyed in general, and not trying to be rude but did not smell good. When you're stuck in a small cubicle with someone, it's extremely difficult to concentrate when you can't breathe. At the end of preparing my taxes he told me my bill was $450, and that was with a $20 discount. Although he again did not explain where those fees were coming from. I had a simple return, a W2 and a paper from childcare. There is no way that should have cost me $450, when a few days prior I was there with my boyfriend who had the exact same and was charged only $240. Plus the guy completely screwed up my state taxes and didn't feel like fixing it while I was there. He said "I'll do it by hand later". I told him that that was rediculous and a rip off and I left and went to HnR Block whom I was very pleased with and charged alot less for the same thing with much better service. Do not go to Liberty Tax in Altoona PA!
